Jets @ Sharks GDT
SJSDFan 16 January 2017
The Sharks face off against the Winnepeg Jets for the first of two times this season. Both teams look to bounce back from what has been a disappointing prior week of play. Backup goaltender Michael Hutchinson is projected to start in net due to starter Connor Hellebuyck sucking hard the last two games, giving up 6 goals on a combined 13 shots. This is a huge game for the Sharks
mostly due to the heathen Anaheim Ducks winning streak. Look for an ass whooping tonight.
No Goal Watch:
Ben Chiarot <- Out due to illness. We are safe from him, this time....
Streaks (last 5):
Winnepeg: 1-3-1
San Jose: 2-3-0
More Streaks:
Games since Timo Meier scored a goal: 12
Days since Joe Thornton has shaven: Unknown
Freaks:
Brent Burns: He has 9 points in his last 5 games and would also like to own a tiger. Not to mention, Burns is also in the Hart trophy conversation this season, which is also FREAKISH and Awesome for a defender.
Irbe: Need I say more?
Critiques:
Brenden Dillon: On offense this year...0 goals (Tied 604th overall) 4 points (534th overall) Turnover +/- -12 (724th overall)
