while also looking at some Pac12 after dark. NHL fortunately works fine, however Sling is being the weak link rn

I think Sling does some of the stuff for Dish, too
Probably some common issues. My app seems to work pretty well. But the connection to my satellite box is where the issues usually occur. Not sure if it is box/app software or my home wifi that is the problem.
