Preview: Sharks @ Flames

Guess what? Dell is actually playing tonight.
The Sharks will look to take a regular season series lead over the Calgary Flames tonight, but they will have to do it without the help of Dillon DeMelo. DeMelo will miss the next few weeks due to a wrist injury he sustained during last nights game in Edmonton. Marc Edouard Vlasic also left the game in Edmonton last night, but his absence was brief. Vlasic is confirmed to be playing tonight, which is a relief to the already depleted defensive core that happens to also be missing David Schlemko.
Not sure who made this photo, but it is pretty damn sweet!
The Sharks go into the game with two consecutive games of scoring 5 or more goals. This is a big relief for the Sharks as a whole and also individuals such as Mikkel Boedker, who happened to break out of his slump last night with a hat trick. When Hertl returns from his injury in what should be early February, the Sharks could suddenly find themselves with a potent and lethal offense.
As for the Flames, they currently sit a top the Wild Card standings with 46 points in 43 games played. Johnny Hockey is pretty good at scoring and I guess those flame thrower things are cool too. Besides that, fuck the Flames.
Go Sharks!
