I get they have their place but they're not THE ONLY statistic in hockey. I swear if I see "relative CORSI" or "CORSI for" again, me head will explode. One because I've heard it so much and 2 because I can't make sense of the damn charts!

I'm trying to break down each area of each shot and compare. Because no shot is created equal
For example, a goalie making 30 ot of 32 saves seems like a good night, but if the two were whiffs, that's not good. Normal SV% won't tell you that the goalie had two whiffs, they'll just tell you the goalie made 30 out of 32 saves. So I'm pretty much breaking down each shot attempt and ranking them on shot savability. I'm still working out a lot of the kinks

I like that because some shots are significantly harder than others and quantity doesn't always equal quality (unless your name is Ben Scrivens and you make 50 saves off of Grade A chances)
