Sharks @ Canucks GDT
SJSTFan 2 April 2017
Tonight the Sharks will continue to look for something positive to build from with the playoffs looming around the corner. They might actually be able to do that against the Canucks, whom the Sharks have defeated in all 3 of their previous meetings. Hopefully for the Sharks, they can get a quick turnaround with their special teams. Both the power play and penalty kill have been bad for most of the season, but right now, they are both at season low points. Let's put if this way...If there is a goal during a Sharks powerplay, it is most likely the other team scoring.
Some things to look for tonight will be roster related. Joonas Donskoi and Joel Ward were both benched the last game. According to Peter DeBoer, nobody is healthy at this time of the year, but then later said Ward was a healthy scratch. If that isn't logically confusing enough, we still don't know how healthy Vlasic is (left briefly in the middle of the last game) and who is going to play tonight. One thing is almost certain, Haley should yet again be in the lineup...again.
Peter DeBoer's logic makes no fucking sense to me
SJST's Official Roster Prediction:
Thornton-Haley-Pavelski
Donskoi-PDB himself-Ward
Tierney-Labanc-Hertl
Meier-Boedker-Sorensen
Martin-Vlasic
Burns-Dillon
Orange Cone-DeMelo
Martin Jones (strapped to the goal posts to keep him upright)
Troy Grosenick
Healthy scratches: Hansen, Braun, Marleau, Schlemko, Dell
Totally untrue prediction
